Welcome to the St. Martin's Tutorial on Avoiding Plagiarism The purpose of this tutorial is to give you a better sense of what plagiarism is and how to avoid it by developing responsible research and writing habits. In addition to emphasizing the consequences of plagiarism, the six sections of the tutorial explain what sources to acknowledge, how to keep good notes, how to organize your research, and how to appropriately integrate sources.
